This page describes what the site actually does, but it has not been through legal review and some sections are still marked TODO. It is not a substitute for advice, and it should not be relied on until that review has happened.
bi-cookie-ack — remembers that you dismissed the cookie notice, so it does not follow you around the site. Stored in local storage, kept until you clear your browser data.
bi-pl — remembers that you have already seen the loading animation in this browsing session, so it only plays once. Stored in session storage and gone when you close the tab.
Neither of these identifies you, and neither is shared with anyone.
TODO(A.10.4 + Phase 8.5): analytics is not installed yet. When it is, list each cookie it sets, what it is for, and how long it lasts — and if you target EU visitors, gate it behind real consent rather than a notice.
Your browser can block or clear all of this. The site keeps working without any of it — you will just see the cookie notice and the loading animation again.
